Team Cal 17U Squad Wins the 2022 PBR California Summer Championships
IRVINE, CA – The Team California 17U squad was crowned 2022 PBR California Summer Champions after defeating CBA Victus 6-3 in the Championship Game Monday afternoon at OC Great Park Stadium. 2023 LHP Caleb Casas El Toro HS got the win, and fellow El Toro HS teammate 2023 RHP Mason Seay earned the Save. Designated Hitter Cole Kenrich 2023 Ocean View HS led the Team Cal 17U offense going 2×3, 1DBL, and 2RBI’s. Infielder 2024 Matt Bernath Centennial HS also had 2 Hits, 1 Dbl, and 1 Run scored. Utility Player Brady Ballinger 2023 Green Valley HS went 1×1, 1DBL, 2BB’s, and 1 Run scored.
