2016 Team California Alumni Catcher Korey Lee in the League

HOUSTON – Korey Lee the former Vista HS and Cal Berkeley Catcher got the Call up this past Friday, July that he was going up to the Big League Club Houston Astros as current Catcher Jason Castro was placed on the disabled list. 

Korey was the 2019 1st Round Pick of the Astros after leading Cal to the NCAA Regionals his Junior year. That year Korey’s Stat Line was:

• .337 BA, 15 HR, 57 RBI, .416 OBP, .619 SLG, 1.034 OPS

Korey hit in the 4 spot and protected All-American 1B Chicago White Sox 1st Round Pick Andrew Vaughn which led to him having such a great offensive year.
